Why Sundasport? (Aside from the fact that it’s a local business - #ShopSmall #ShopLocal)
I was born with a non-congenital bone defect (and apparently my grandmother’s feet 🙄) so a lot of the times with exercise, my feet HURT. It’s honestly amazing how I’ve been a full time Massage Therapist for 11 years & my feet have held up. I know just how important self care is, and fitness is a big part of that. One of the things I try to instill in my clients is muscles are like dogs, they only know what you teach them.
I’ve never really enjoyed working out.
🧘♂️ Yoga, sure.
Elliptical machine? I love them..but hate the limitations. I can only do that one movement for so long before I’m bored.
🏃♀️Running? Never been my thing, as its high impact on the whole body & my feet hurt.
So it’s frustrating trying to find something
that’s affordable ✅
Another reason I love Sundasport is Ryan will modify the workouts to make it so I’m comfortable with the movements & still achieve the same great workout I showed up for.
I have fun 🙌, I feel great🤩 (though I make angry faces at him or the workout itself halfway through😳😡🤬😭) and every session I walk away feeling better than when I walked in. And my feet don’t kill me afterwards!😬

People can be hard to shop for. You want to give gifts that people will use & enjoy, but sometimes gifts just get put back into the boxes they came in and don’t surface again for a while. Life just gets in the way, and we get it. Who can really keep up with all the multi-tasking the day calls for, much less find yet another home for another nick-nack and remember to dust it every so often.
Multi-session packages purchased here never expire, and for a limited time, EACH session comes with a free enhancement. Investing in a membership for yourself (or a loved one) comes with free additional session time you can use whenever you like.
These gifts are no brainers, and the savings won’t last long. Come see our new space (only 2 blocks from our old space) and enjoy feeling your body again!
Moving is stressful. For many people, the stress starts when they start packing up their belongings to stage and show their home. Then, finding a new home while attempting to sell the old one, trying to coordinate move-out and move-in dates, can add pressure. Physically moving into the new home is another stress factor that just compounds the situation’s difficulty, which doesn’t resolve until after the homeowner’s made the down payment, paid his or her Pennsylvania realtor and lawyer, and gotten settled into his or her new home.
After all that, any homeowner needs some self care. Spa days and massages are a very popular form of self care for homeowners and others looking to relieve their stress. Take some time to educate yourself about the benefits of getting a massage, then find a massage therapist near you.
Getting a Massage can Soothe your Tired Muscles
Massage’s primary benefit is soothing your tired, sore muscles. After long days hauling heavy boxes and furniture into your new home, you’ll probably have some muscle soreness and pain. Instead of wallowing in the pain and waiting for it to pass, have it massaged away by a professional massage therapist. Choose a Swedish massage for your muscle recovery because this type of massage stimulates blood circulation, which brings oxygen to your sore spots.
Massage’s Overall Health Benefits
Each type of massage has specific benefits. If you are looking for more targeted relief than a full body Swedish massage, talk to your massage therapist about the services he or she offers.
There are certain health benefits that every kind of massage provides, though. They include:
● Improved immune system function;
● Improved blood circulation;
● Better sleep;
● Muscle and joint relief;
● Headache reduction;
● Increased energy levels;
● Pain relief;
● Reduced blood pressure;
● Enhanced mood; and
● Improved flexibility.
When you receive massages regularly, the benefits compound and improve your overall health. You might find yourself becoming ill less often or becoming more physically fit after you add massage therapy to your healthy living regimen. Consider opening an account at a local massage therapy studio. At many massage studios, subscribed guests receive a specific number of massages each month.
Massage for Stress Relief
Getting a massage has plenty of health benefits, and these physical health benefits translate directly to mental health benefits. Simply being in a massage room with its low lighting and aromatherapy will reduce your stress level, and when the massage therapist works out your knots and tight muscles, you’ll feel tension you might not even realize you carried melt away.
Beyond boosting your mood by making you feel relaxed, massage therapy can ease your anxiety and help to resolve your insomnia. It cannot replace medical treatment, though. If you suffer from a diagnosed disorder, continue following your doctor’s treatment instructions. A massage can be a great complement to your prescribed medical treatment, but it cannot render it unnecessary.
